Who we are looking for:


We are searching for a high-energy Account Executive who is a self-starter, can recognize real opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships. You will be based in the US (on the East Coast) and be responsible for growing our North America footprint. With a strong understanding of tech and industry trends (especially insurance and financial services), you will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual need and propose solutions. Ideally, you will have strong inside sales experience and confident of selling remotely. The ideal candidate will be organized, an avid story-teller, passionate about client relations, focused on enhancing the buyer experience and comfortable with outbound sales. You are at ease speaking with a technical audience and have previous experience with contact center/CX technology, CPaaS, chat, video chat and/or related web technologies.


Responsibilities:  

  • Help develop and execute our North America sales strategy
  • Relentless at building your own, well-qualified pipeline
  • Qualify and prioritize new and existing opportunities to achieve quota
  • Strong social selling on LinkedIn and also happy to be their own micro-marketer
  • A focus on new business in insurance and financial services
  • Navigate enterprise accounts to gain entry to higher levels and strategic decision-makers
  • This role will have an element of up-selling within existing accounts
  • Leverage your understanding of Surfly to identify how our solution can solve customer’s business problems
  • Negotiate on value and understand how to create compelling business cases
  • Maintain operational and CRM excellence on a weekly basis by accurate forecasting

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS Sales
  • You will be based in the US East Coast (ideally New York)
  • Ideally you have strong inside sales experience
  • Consistent track record of over-achievement
  • Solid understanding of customer experience, contact center, chat technologies 
  • Specific vertical experience in insurance and financial services
  • Fast growth, startup experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the global tech landscape, solutions, go-to-markets and contact center 
  • You are a highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual who loves to work in a diverse and international team
