We’re looking for a Medior / Senior Data Engineer to join the Data team in shaping the future of Surfly.
Develop and maintain an efficient and reliable analytics infrastructure, built on a state-of-the-art cloud platform and software stack.
Develop and maintain our App ecosystem and its integrations, which power up all Surfly teams.
Help building a versatile and cross-functional Data Team, ready to adapt to the changes and challenges of a fast-growing startup.
A successful history of building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.
Experience processing and extracting value from disconnected datasets.
Experience performing root cause analysis on data to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities.
Experience working in cross-functional and dynamic teams with Agile methodology.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or equivalent.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Informatics or another quantitative field.
SQL and relational databases.
Python and its libraries for data manipulation.
Public cloud services (preferably GCP).
Good analytical and reasoning skills.
Good organizational and communication skills.
ETL / ELT and workflow management tools (preferably dbt and Apache Airflow).
Software engineering, DevOps and DataOps best practices.
