Who we are looking for:

Surfly is looking for a Product Marketing Manager with previous b2b scale-up experience to communicate the benefits of Surfly and its core technology and drive usage by enterprises across any industry. You will be responsible for creating and managing product focused messaging, positioning, and working across various teams to help meet Surfly’s strategic objectives. As part of the marketing team, you will be working with sales, customer success, product, and engineering to develop and lead strategic projects from ideation to execution. You are extremely adept at understanding complex technologies, their potential applications and use cases, and turning that into content that is clear, concise, and explains the benefits of Surfly.


  • Create product messaging that clearly describes our technology, features, its application for specific industries, as well as its broad application, with the goal of helping to bring on more customers as well as increase usage among current customers.

  • Work with the product team to communicate how current and new offerings are positioned and resonate with our ideal customers

  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and demands of our customers and users, including the creation of user and buyer journeys, and well as personas/ideal customer profiles

  • Create compelling content that engages our prospective customer audiences and helps to build Surfly’s brand as the leading co-browsing technology in the marketplace.

  • Develop and manage the marketing side of product releases to educate customers (and potential customers) and reduce any friction for product usage. This would also involve assisting in the creation of such content such as blogs, case studies, web pages, etc.

  • Work with customer success to create communications to existing users regarding new products, existing features, and other engaging content.

  • Develop, research, and maintain competitive intelligence and marketplace/industry data.

  • Continuously provide data driven recommendations based on the KPI’s that have been set and the data that has been gathered.

  • Take a product marketing leadership role - as the first Product Marketer in a pre-Series A start-up, it will be your responsibility to meet current needs as well as put the process and structure in place to rapidly scale in the near future.


  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing with at least 3 years of that experience being in a scale-up environment.

  • A passion for what you do and a fearless attitude: you are not afraid to try new things, and if they fail, you quickly move on and try again.

  • Ability to understand complex technology and see the wide range of applications for that technology.

  • Experience creating product focused content for sales enablement and customer success, including one-pagers, product feature sheets, website content, blogs, use cases/customer stories, etc).

  • Experience in competitive, industry, and user research.

  • Experience in developing product pricing models

  • Ability to quickly execute and iterate in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Strong analytic skills with a track record of delivering data driven recommendations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to simplify complex ideas for a variety of audiences
