Surfly is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager with previous B2B scale-up experience to communicate the benefits of Surfly, its core technology, and drive its usage by enterprises across any industry. You will be responsible for creating and managing product-focused messaging, positioning, and working across various teams to help meet Surfly’s strategic objectives. As a member of the Marketing team, you will be working with Sales, Customer success, Product, and Engineering to develop and lead strategic projects, from ideation to execution. You are extremely adept at understanding complex technologies, their potential applications and use cases, and turning that into content that is clear, concise, and explains the benefits of Surfly, while developing a keen understanding of our customer base.
Create product messaging that clearly describes our technology, use cases, features, and benefits, with the goal of helping to bring on more customers as well as increase usage among current customers.
Work with the Product team to communicate how current and new offerings are positioned and resonate with our ideal customers.
Develop a deep understanding of the needs and demands of our customers, including running user testing, the creation of customer satisfaction surveys, and the creation of user and buyer journeys/profiles
Develop and manage the go-to-market of new product releases to educate customers (and potential customers) and reduce any friction for product usage. This would also involve assisting in the creation of such content such as blogs, case studies, web pages, etc.
Work with Sales to create assets (decks, one-pagers) to help attract prospective customers.
Work with Customer Success to create communications to existing users regarding new products, existing features, and other engaging content.
Develop, research, and maintain competitive intelligence and marketplace/industry data.
Take a product marketing leadership role - as the first Product Marketer in a pre-Series A start-up, it will be your responsibility to meet current needs as well as put the process and structure in place to rapidly scale in the near future.
